Steve Beazley tried to muzzle the fair employees and prevent word about his takeover plan with Ellis from getting out. He tried to get his staff to sign loyalty oath papers promising that they wouldn’t disclose his scheme under threat of termination. Here’s a copy of the document along with the backpedaling from HR once they were called on it.
Great Bob_Is_Unfair, in the spirit of your request, I ask that you also reveal your identity. Will make your boss Beazley very happy as you are a supporter. not only do you not have any downside in disclosing who you are, you have up side. You should gain favor with the management team (that’s how they roll over there; to the obedient go the spoils…) by supporting their style, direction and ethics…this disclosure will also increase your credibility. My guess is that you don’t have the courage to stand up to scrutiny. I further surmise that you are either one of the principals being analyzed or working hand in glove with the subjects. I find it disturbing that you are trying to out bloggers that don’t agree with your perspective. People who are in the right typically do not worry what others say. The truth protects them. However if the conversation has truth in its condemnation this makes subject nervous, paranoid and angry. I suspect this is where your perspective is at this point by your tone and statements. Not trying to be rude, but reading between the lines…
When you disclose who you are Bob_Is_Unfair, then I too will follow suit.
I work at the Fair and I can certainly understand why BobisUnfair and ProbationFail do not want to reveal their identity. But the truth is most of us are figuring it out anyway. My guess is that it is Jeff Willson and Robin Wachner. They are the ones who carry the shovel behind Steve trying to clean up his manure. Sort of like Steve did for the horses in his earlier years as the caboose in the fair parade. But of course this is a more serious situation.
However Steve has managed to fool them because he has many more years in the fair biz and dishonest living. If you think by protecting and praising Steve you are protecting your jobs. Think again. You do good work. Don’t let him destroy that for you. With the sale looming the truth is no one is safe. No one. And what happens when Steve is thrown out? Is he going to take you with him? Fat chance. So no matter who you are, you might want to rethink your strategy. If you truly are looking out for yourselves protecting Steve or singing his praises is probably not your best move. Don’t we all really want to preserve the fair and all that it means to the community? That should be our goal. Steve is replaceable. The Fair isn’t.
so we just learned that our fearless ceo got a raise and they are shifting people around, eliminating other employees and bringing in people that do not have any experience. this is a terrible situation. i hope the employees who are filing the lawsuit will hurry up and expose what is going on here. we have to take furlough days still and the ceo gets a raise. wow
@daddycow: Where did you learn of said raise? Haven’t heard a word of it – it would have been announced at the board meeting, if it were true. Regardless, isn’t the CEO due for a raise when the rest of the staff continue to get them? Also, the CEO takes furlough days. Are you saying all raises to all staff should be put on hold? If you are a staff member, I bet you got your raise.
Enlighten us on the new people who don’t have any experience.
